What types of car insurance can you get with AXA insurance?
AXA have two types of policy, AXA plus car insurance and AXA car insurance. They’re both available as comprehensive or third party, fire and theft. We’ve outlined the comprehensive versions of these policies below:

MultiCar Insurance
AXA also offers a form of MultiCar insurance, which might be an option if you have multiple cars at the same address. Unlike some forms of Multicar insurance, AXA car insurance does not align renewal dates and each policyholder has their own account.
You will receive a discount if you take out a policy on another vehicle. If you have a policy with AXA, you can get 15% off a policy for an additional vehicle – you just need to provide them with the existing policy's vehicle registration plate when getting a quote.
Electric Vehicle (EV) car insurance
AXA car insurance also provides a specific policy for EVs. As standard, they cover your battery and charging cable, alongside cover for injury or damage caused by your charging cables. There is also optional breakdown cover for your EV.
How to make changes to, or cancel, AXA car insurance
If you need to make a change to your policy (like adding a driver) or cancel it you can do so with the AXA car insurance contact number:
- 0330 024 1158 (Monday to Friday: 8am - 8pm, Saturday: 9am – 5pm, Sunday: closed)
If you cancel before your policy starts, or within 14 days of the start date, there is no fee. If you cancel after this period, the fee is £52.50 [3]
